How we run road freight
We plan full truckloads (FTL) and part loads (LTL) with a vetted network of carriers across Europe. Every truck is tracked by GPS, so you see an accurate arrival time instead of a guess.
What is included
Pickup at your site, cross border documents, route planning, live tracking and proof of delivery. Tail lift, curtain sider and temperature controlled trailers are available on request.
Fast lanes from the ports
Containers arriving in Rotterdam can be unloaded and on a truck the same day, with direct runs to most of Western Europe within 48 hours.
When road is the right choice
Road freight is the most flexible option for distances under about 1,000 kilometres, for tight delivery windows and for sites without rail access.
How a shipment moves, step by step
1. Quote and booking
Tell us the pickup and delivery addresses, the number of pallets, the weight and the time window. We confirm a price and a pickup slot, often for the same or next day.
2. Pickup
The driver collects the goods at the agreed time, checks the pallet count and condition, and signs the CMR consignment note with you.
3. On the road
You follow the truck live in your dashboard. If traffic or a border check causes a delay, we share a new arrival time and inform the receiver.
4. Delivery
The goods are delivered in the booked slot, and a signed proof of delivery is in your dashboard within hours.
Options you can add
Dedicated trucks for urgent or high value loads, two driver teams for faster long distance runs, temperature controlled trailers from minus 25 to plus 25 degrees, ADR transport for dangerous goods, tail lift delivery to sites without a loading dock and booking of delivery slots at distribution centres.
What affects the price
Price depends on distance, the number of pallet places or loading metres, weight, the vehicle type and how flexible the timing is. Part loads share a truck with other customers, which keeps the cost down when you do not need a full trailer.
Documents we need from you
Pickup and delivery addresses with contact names, opening hours and any site rules, a packing list and, for transport to or from outside the EU, the export documents. We prepare the CMR for every load.
Common questions
When is a full truck better than a part load?
From around 12 to 14 pallets a full truck is usually better value. It also goes direct, without stops at other customers, so it is faster and the goods are handled less.
Do you deliver to the UK?
Yes. We run regular loads between the Benelux and the UK and handle the customs declarations on both sides of the Channel.
